Getting a quiz live

Configuring Live URLs

To display a quiz on your website, you will first need to set up its Live URLs configuration. Quizzes will only show up on the configured web pages.

Steps:

1. Select Live URLs in the left-hand navigation menu or click Get your quiz live in your organization's dashboard.
2. Add the Help Me Choose AI setup script:
   • Google Tag Manager - If your website uses Google Tag Manager (GTM), add the Help Me Choose AI tag template using the Project ID shown in the Quiz tag section. See Installing with Google Tag Manager below.
   • Manual installation - Copy the provided Help Me Choose AI tag and add it to every page of your website, for example in your site's <head> or as a Custom HTML tag in another tag manager.
   • Automatic installation - If you are using an Awin affiliate plan and have Awin MasterTag set up, click Verify affiliate data in the Initialization section. Once our team verifies your details, quizzes will automatically work through your MasterTag, without needing to set up an additional tag.
3. Define URLs for your quiz in the Page configuration section:
   1. Choose your quiz under New Quiz Live URLs and click Create Quiz Entry.
   2. Enter your website's base URL as the Website Origin. (Example: https://example.com)
   3. Specify individual page paths or use a wildcard (*) to match multiple pages under Website paths.
      (Example: / matches the home page)
      (Example: /collections/* matches all pages within "collections")
4. Click Save Live URLs at the top of the Page configuration section. The quiz will now appear on all configured pages of your store.

Installing with Google Tag Manager

The Help Me Choose AI tag template adds the setup script through Google Tag Manager without a Custom HTML tag. Your GTM admins can see exactly what it is allowed to do: set your project key and load the Help Me Choose AI script.

1. Download template.tpl. The Quiz tag section of the Live URLs page links to the same file.
2. In Google Tag Manager, open Templates, click New under Tag Templates, open the ⋮ menu in the top right, select Import and choose the downloaded file. Click Save, then close the template editor.
3. Open Tags, click New, click Tag Configuration and select Help Me Choose AI.
4. Enter your Project ID. Copy it from the Quiz tag section of the Live URLs page using the copy button next to it.
5. Under Triggering, select All Pages, then save the tag.
6. Use Preview to check the quiz appears on one of your configured pages, then Submit to publish your container.
