Closer offer

What it does

Once a shopper has their recommendations, the closer offer shows them a discount code with a short headline and a button. The button copies the code, or, if you give it an apply link, sends the shopper to that link with the code filled in.

The offer can appear with the recommendations, a few seconds after them, or only when the shopper goes to close the results. The last one is shown once per shopper; the other two every time the results screen is displayed.

Setting it up

1. Create the discount code in your store or affiliate network. The quiz does not create codes; it only shows the one you give it.
2. On the quiz's Content tab, switch on Enable closer offer under Closer offer and enter the code.
3. Adjust the headline, text and button text, and choose when it shows.
4. Optionally add an apply link. On Shopify, https://yourstore.com/discount/{code} applies the code to the cart; the {code} part is replaced with your code when the button is clicked.
5. Save the quiz. An offer without a code is not shown.

The offer is part of the optimisation add-ons and is available on affiliate and special plans. On the free plan it is not saved. See Organization plans.

Measuring it

The quiz reports when the offer is shown, closed, copied and clicked, so its uptake can be compared with the recommendation clicks it sits beside.
